How long:
90 mintures (45 minutes: workshop and 45 minutes: visit)

What would you think of offering a unique learning experience to your students and journey into the past and present of the Ilnuatsh culture?

In the workshops the students can observe archeological objects, handle bones, quartzite, hides… try out a traditional game, smell spruce sap or examine the famous "beaver kidneys" (castoreum). They have the chance to participate, classify, experiment by using four themes, archeology, materials, way of life and wild life. The students can explore the roots of the Ilnu culture.

The visit of the exhibition encourages the students to participate actively by different educationnal schemes and short activities. They will discover the objects on display, appreciate, ask questions, imagine and understand the subjects that are exposed, nomadism, the importance of the territory, traditional activities and life style of the Ilnuatsh, during the period of pre-history up until today. The visit also includes a short video.
